Monday: Drop Everything and Read                                                                       
Tuesday: LITERACY DAY - Reading Buddies

Wednesday:  K – 2 Read by flashlight in the library in your PJs
  • Students may wear their pajamas, bring a flashlight, a blanket and a stuffy.
Thursday: Grades 3 – 8 Read by flashlight in the library in your PJs
  • Students may wear their pajamas, bring a flashlight, a blanket and a stuffy.
Monday to Thursday: Catching Students Reading
  • Mme Jarvis and Ms. Panet will be trying to catch students reading in the evening between 5:30 and 6:30. The names of students caught reading will be placed in a draw for a Chapters gift card.

Registration
Welcome to Amherstview Public School ! Feel free to download and print out this form to register your child at our school. Just fill in the form, bring in the required documentation and bring them in.

Documents required for registration

  • Proof of your child's age (birth certificate, baptismal certificate or passport)
  • Proof of address (driver's licence of parent/guardian, household bills, federal government forms)
  • Proof of immunization (child's immunization record - visit KFL&A Public Health for more information)
  • Your child's Ontario Health Card (optional)
Full Day Kindergarten
 







We are currently accepting registrations for junior and senior kindergarten students for the 2013-2014 school year, for those children who will turn 4 or 5 by December 31, 2013. Amherstview Public School will have full-day kindergarten. Families may register their children in person at the school. When you come in to register, please bring your child's Birth Certificate, Health Card, Immunization Card, and proof of home address
